Kim Kouwabunpat - As an accomplished, nationally-ranked, junior golfer from Southern California, Kim held 4 junior national titles. She set the course record at Empire Lakes GC at age 14, shooting a 4-under 68 and went on to be a 5-time junior All-American. She was a 5-time competitor in the US Girls' Championship with her best finish as a semi-finalist, losing to Grace Park. She earned a full scholarship to play on the Women's Golf Team for 4 years at Stanford University, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology. She was a 2-time member of the All-Conference PAC 10 Team and earned MVP honors during her senior year. Kim turned pro in June 2004 and is currently competing on the CN Canadian Women's Tour and the Futures Tour as she pursues her dreams to play on the LPGA. |
